Back in 1870 when the goldminers were in town and Clyde was just being founded, the schist stable was built by an unknown master craftsman on the tent sites occupied by goldminers, coalminers and VIPs. Fast forward 150 years and the stables is still standing and has become an iconic feature of the Antique Lodge Motel.
Tucked away in the garden of the motels the stables have been refurbished to provide a very unique,
boutique and intimate space which can be used for multi-purpose functions.
During the summer we serve a buffet continental breakfast for our guests.
It is also an ideal venue for small intimate corporate and team meetings.
For guests that are staying with us the space is also available for hire for the following:
Superior Two Bedroom
Standard One Bedroom
