Here at the Antique Lodge Motel your health and wellbeing (as well as our staff) is important to us and our number one priority.  We realise that there is uncertainty and a level of anxiety at this time so we are doing everything we can to make sure that your stay is amazing and safe!!

After completing a risk assessment and in consultation with staff we have implemented the following which will ultimately provide a greater level of protection while we operate under all levels of the Covid-19 Protection Framework (Traffic Light System)

  •  Our rooms are individually laid out and are socially distanced!!

  • All cleaning procedures, protocols and products have been reviewed in consultation with Ministry of Health and Hospitality NZ Guidelines. In addition to our strict cleaning standards high use areas e.g. door handles, light switches, hard surfaces, remote controls and eftpos terminals are given extra attention.  These are constantly under review.

  • A triple sheeting policy has been implemented in order to maintain a high level of sanitisation of bedding.

  • If you are staying for more than 1 night and would like you room serviced please let us know.  We no longer service the rooms when guests are staying multi nights.  We are more than happy too!!

    • Towels and linen can be exchanged on request and rubbish can be removed also on request.

  • Online check-in (for all guests staying)

  • Payments will be made with the credit card collected at time of booking.  Alternatively, we can supply bank account details for direct credit

  • One booking/one payment.  No split payments will between guests.

  • Our housekeepers are socially distanced and wear PPE and are highly trained in disinfecting and cleaning rooms in accordance with MOH guidelines and follow a systemized approach that ensures that all are protected.

When you are staying with us please can you follow the below:

  • Check-in online
